    Default Outside the box done

I have so admired the quilts done in this pattern that I've seen on this board. I was kind of intimidated by it, especially when it came time to put the blocks together, but it was actually not nearly as hard as I thought. I liked it so much I even sewed on the binding by hand on the back, something I only do for special quilts!

I believe this pattern is called "Outside the Box" or quarter log cabin. I had all this fabric set aside for a project, and I am happy with how it turned out...

beautifully done! I too have been intimated by the complexity of this quilt pattern but you've done a superb job of putting it all together. It truly is a special quilt.

I think I would have chosen black shoes for your quilt. I love your quilt it looks so dimensional it looks like the quilt Could float off into space but chose instead to walk away.

You have done a wonderful job with fabrics and construction or your quilt would look flat instead of ready to fly away.
    Thank you.

Great quilt - I just love the effect of that pattern. My eye just keeps travelling back.
