Default Outside My Comfort Zone

I almost always make a somewhat traditional controlled pattern, but this asymetrical quilt begged to be made. So I made it as I went; fast & fun. It will go to some good friends who like a more modern look. Now I need to find a marbely (sp) black fabric (the red front is Robert Kauffman "Marbelous") for the backing and binding. Measures 54" by 60".

Beautiful. I have bought mottled black fabric but do now the manufacturer. Google would be the best bet. It's hard to find but is available.

Here are some black marble fabrics:

check out quiltshops.com for black marble fabric. If you type in black marble, then click on "thumbnails" you can scroll thru different pics to see the different options.
