No, no heat & bond, just traced and did the embroidery. I have a hope chest MDB gave o me before he passed and I have afoam top I put on and I pin the pattern & fabric really good to it and use my ott light and trace, this works great for me.
Thanks so much for the nice comments.

Do you use a Heat and Bond behind it to embroidery on?
I did buy this one too and my biggest problem is finding a window big enough to trace on..my sil has a patio door and I think that would do the trick

Great quilt, love the pattern and the fabrics are great. Black/white quilts are so popular.

I have that same pattern and I purchased blue and white fabrics. Two of the blues and one of the whites are the Michael Miller "sparkly" fabrics that look frosted. I can hardly wait to get going with it.

I purchased the pattern, floss and fabrics in beige and brown tones, but haven't taken time to get the embroidery design transferred to the fabric. Did you use a light box or EZ transfer? I did buy the EZ transfer, but am hesitant to get started. Your black/white quilt is beautiful and I like the snowflake quilting design. Have seen a lot of b/w quilts here lately and love them. Thanks for sharing.

I have seen this pattern many times, I just LOVE doing hand work like this. Can anyone tell me where I can buy the
transfer pattern?
