    Overwhelemed

I sew for myself and others but not really for competition. I have entered some competition just to get my name out and about to help pick up some new business......but I entered 5 things in the state fair and got two 1st place ribbons and two 2nd place ribbons. I was really amazed and excited. If i can get them to post i'll post some pictures of them.

The Women of Courage quilt (browns) got a 1st place, the Blue/Yellow stack and wack got a 2nd place, the blue swirl table runner got 1st and the vest got 2nd. I was very surprised.

Congratulations on winning your ribbons. Your work is beautiful.
Fabric is like money, no matter how much you have it's never enough.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Hurray for you!!!! I don't know what the competition was, but those look like winners to me.

BTW I also sew mainly for my own pleasure, but I have a goodly share of blues also. I urge people to enter shows. Especially ones with open judging, so you hear what the judge has to say. It can improve the quality of your work.
