I found out yesterday that a co-worker's little girl was having surgery. After a trip to JoAnn's after work to get a "cheater quilt" and fabric, I put this together last night. Her surgery went fine and they let her come home last night too. Took this to work today so her dad can deliver it to her this afternoon.
I added another border to the pre-made top to make it a bit larger and to add something to all the pink. Soft flannels, and fuzzys and satin for textures. Nice soft flannel on the back. And her favorite color happens to be pink-of course! She is 4! Didn't have to guess on that one.

How pretty! I am amazed that you just "threw" this together so fast. Good job and I know she will love it, I know I would and I am a big girl! LOL

That is sooooo cute. What a nice gift for a little girl after surgery, it will last a long time, flowers or balloons don't last.
