That is so cute! I have a sample of glitter fabric that I got at an industry show. It is an adhesive backed one that needs to be applied with a heat press. Too much trouble for me, but I love this one. Are the owls appliquéd with an embroidery machine?

I appliqued the owls with my embroidery machine. I also used a small iron and used it in the hoop to attach the vinyl sheets which come with an adhesive back. Could be the same fabric! It doesn't take much effort to heat the vinyl fabric and have it adhere.

[QUOTE=cathyvv;7788927]I WANT OWL QUILTS! Seriously, lovely, colorful, fun only begin to describe how much I like the quilt. Wish I could do applique
You can do it! I love doing applique on my embroidery machine but it works great using a regular sewing machine, too! I started with raw edge applique for projects that didn't need to go into the washing machine. I made many squares with roughly cut pieces to try the blanket stitch, small zigzags, and satin stitching. There are so many ways to do applique and I know you can do it! You have that desire!!! You go girl!
