I know what you mean. Pams' patterns can be a challenge in the beginning. Some times things just didn't look right but I trusted the instructions and after re reading and many trial and errors I understand her style.

I did not just jump in and start sewing on this one. I laid out all the pieces and made sure I understood the sewing steps before I started. Doing this prep work made piecing the blocks so much fun with no problems or unsewing.

I am going to do a few more WHings from the book and then try a full size quilt. I love the Primrose pattern and Grandmothers Violets and then there is The Field of Flowers pattern. I need to get busy!

I love that little quilt and love sunflowers. We were coming home yesterday from a little trip and saw huge sunflowers at a house we passed by. Beautiful job.

Really nice! I was just introduced to Pam Bono's work on another thread (big book of rotary cutter quilts) and promptly ordered that book on Amazon. I love this on too!
