    Default panel wall hanging

We have secret pals at church. Mine must sew because I have gotten several "quilt" type gifts. This is a wall hanging that came with the backing fabric. I think they are from Hobby Lobby since several other things have been. The birds, sunflower, and one leaf grouping were meant to be fused to batting then glued on. I appliqued them instead. The ones I've seen done up in the store used loftier batting - which I didn't have. THey were also turned instead of bound and not quilted, but had top stitching about an inch from the outer edge. I opted to outline quilt and bind instead.

Nice secret pal you have. Who wouldn't like to receive a gift like that? I like binding better too.
