Default Paper pieced Practice...

Downloaded templets from internet and just jumped right in, not thinking as always. The colors should be reversed darker to lighter glad I didn't do the rest yet cause they are 10, 12, and 16 point stars yet to do, well now to start over again. I always screw up EVERY thing I do. Thanks for looking.

oK YOU DID NOT SCREW UP ANYTHING. trust me I do a lot of paper piecing and I still mess up,. don't go into this with the attitude of "I always screw up everything I do" if you do then you will for sure.
The most thing to remember is. Back to back always. Back of fabric to back of paper. I have taken out stitches way to many times., You will do fine. It is a learning thing trust me. have fun with this. OK?

Looks good ! But here is a piece of advice that was given to me in the chat room when I was complaining that my blocks didn't turn out the size that it was supposed to. When you print a PDF paper piece pattern from the internet, be sure to set your "page scaling" to none. It will make a huge difference. Even better if some of them have the 1 inch square to help.

Yes, lol, that's how I spent the evening last nite, removing stitches, had set the triangles on the edges, to the wrong edges, sometimes as much as I think I'm in control, I end up removing stitches. I just count it as part of the process. Relax, have fun.

i think you did a very good job with those. of course, only you know what colorway you want to end up with, but there's nothing wrong with those and they can be mixed with different colors too

Looks good to me.
I was having the devil's own time trying to do TULIP from the Farmers Wife book by piecing it. Someone suggested paper-piecing.
Googled and found many paper piecing freezer paper methods
There's a one page print-out that's easy to follow.
