I usually favor the smaller/thinner boarders, but with this quilt I actually like the wider boarder with the squares in the corner. I really like your quilt, can't wait to see it done.

I think the larger border takes away from the quilt. Therefore, I vote for the smaller also. Very nice.

I think the all black border keeps it balanced better....love the quilt.

I like the smaller border. One thing I have heard about borders is that they should be less than 3/4 the size of the block and I think that rings true here... but as I tell everyone it's your quilt - you need to like it It is very stunning!

I like the larger boarder and the squares. I think it finishes the quilt top off. The smaller boarder is nice, but it is missing "something" as I would say. The larger boarder with the squares allows the eye to travel to the board and "finishes" the quilt top. That is just my opinion. Good luck on your decision and it will be wonderful however you choose to finish it.
