Do you have a quilt to donate to someone who has lost all? Our friend Krystyna lost her house and her sewing business.
I would like to collect quilts to deliver to Krystyna for the Long Beach (NY) community. I know I have a quilt I could part with. Maybe you do too. The devastation is overwhelming. My family is safe and secure. But my first adult home was on Long Beach, 3 blocks from the ocean. A special beauty. I can't imagine what it would be like to lose my memorabilia, my livlihood, and my underwear! I prefer to help one community rather than give $$ to an anonymous charity. What do you think? PS We are getting another storm- not so bad- Wednesday and it is freezing! Best, Dotty

A couple of questions for you. The only quilt I have ready to go right now is only 48 X 48 inches. Is that okay? Also, a lovely lady I know in her 90's has a baby quilt she made she would like to donate if you think you would like it. I can send them both out on Tuesday.
