About a month or so ago I posted about teaching my daughter how to sew. At that time my youngest son asked when I would teach him. Well, today was that day. He did pretty good but he had trouble controlling the speed and got frustrated. I finished his project for him and promised that next time we would use Gabby's machine which is slower. He groaned about using a purple machine but agreed that it would be much better. He did the front blocks and then I finished.

I read somewhere that when teaching kids to sew you can put a small block in the foot pedal so they cannot sew too fast. Maybe an eraser or something.

Tell Kain that we all think he did a wonderful job! And that there is nothing wrong with sewing on a purple machine

Great job Kain, you'll learn how to slow down that machine. Everyone has trouble with keeping the speed down at first, your pillow looks like it was done by a pro :D
