Default past & Present

My daughter wanted me to make her a quilt using the Lovers knot pattern, I found a quilt top that my Mom had made in the 1990's sometime not dated. Mom passed in Jan. 2006. My DD then decide she wanted one side that I had made the other that her Grandma had made, was a challenge to say the least. I did the teal side Mom did the Red and yellow side. Thanks for looking

That does sound like a challenge. But both sides are very pretty. You did good!

That was a wonderful idea, and now your daughter has a quilt made by each of you. Priceless.

Beautiful quilt. It has to be double the love, Mom and Grandma.

Oh my goodness what a great idea your daughter had! Her being able to be wrapped in warmth by both mom and grandma. I'm sure it will give her great comfort and joy every time she curls up under it.
