Here's a lap quilt made of Maywood Woolie flannel which is the softest and thickest flannel ever. My first "start to finish" quilt - going beyond piecing and doing the quilting myself. I'm starting with straight line quilting before I tackle FMQ.

Gorgeous and you did the quilting so well. I do FMQ and think it is easier than straight, I can't walk straight either.

I love the sashing strips. I have a large print flannel that I need to do something with but just didn't have any inspiration. I think I will have to copy your quilt.

Great job!

love it...amazing how the straight stitching goes along each side of the dots on the back. You did a great job.
