Hi! I just made these placemats for my daughter (4 in all) and gave them to her while she was back in Wisconsin visiting. I made the design myself as a quilt as you go project with the strips and then added the star material on both sides. I also made one for my MIL to fit the top of her Amish waste container and a couple for myself. Happy 4th of July!

Your welcome! She has placemats that I have made for her for almost every holiday except the 4th of July, so this way she can use them from Memorial Day through Labor Day. I should have had her show the back of the placemats too because I used lighthouse material with North and South Carolina lighthouses and she lives in NC so they are multi-purpose!

Those are CUTE!! And they look easy too. Thinking about making some more for Jim. Will have to consider holidays when I do. Thanks so much for showing us these.
