Patriotic table runner finished!

Patriotic table runner finished!

I'm pleased with how this turned out! I made it for my aunt, who is hosting our entire family (about 30 of us) at her cabin over the 4th of July weekend. I wanted a nice way to say "Thank you!"
The back is denim with stars stamped on using fabric paint. I used white flannel as a middle layer to keep the white stripes looking white.

I just love this tale runner! Using flannel to keep the white strips white is such a great hint. And the back - oh my - what a great idea!

I'm not real big on the table runners but I like this one. I'd be happy to have that on my table and I'm sure your Aunt will too.
