Default Patriotic Wedding Quilt, plus

Wedding couples are given choices as to traditional or modern, and their main color theme. A dear church couple, very patriotic, chose traditional in Red, White and Blue. Their wedding is on July 4th. Thanks for sharing the excitement with me. It was a joy to make for them, two of the loveliest Christian folks I have ever known.

It's a traditional Double Wedding Ring center front with a hint of ichthys (Christian symbol) surrounding. Done in a generous full to eventually move up to a queen size. It was quilted on a domestic sewing machine. Traditional DWRs typically form a star on the reverse, so it dictated a secondary pattern as it went along. One of the Bridal Shower gifts will be the 12-13” fruit bowl made from scraps over clothesline. Thanks for sharing. ~ Jo

Great job. Like the backing too. How did you get it to line up so well?
