Default "Peaceful Garden" Queen, Pieced, Quilted, Bound, FINISHED!

This queen quilt design is by Jan Douglas and is called Peaceful Garden. The fabric line is from Marti Michelle and is Wildrose II by Maywood Studio. I bought this kit in a wonderful, wonderful shop in LeClaire, Iowa. First experience with a kit and it was a good one. Generous amount of fabric to allow for booboos. The quilt is a surprise Christmas present for my son and daughter-in-law. It was hand quilted by Bonnie Schultz and I wanted hearts and feathers. Yellow is my son's favorite color and I grow a lot of flowers, and my DIL wanted a blue quilt. I hope this combines the best of all ideas. This is my second quilt and the first one bound. Hooray!! Have a great week everyone.

Wow, my favorite color combination Love everything about it. This handquilting sets a high standard. I enjoy hand quilting but it looks like a 3 year old did it compared to this quilt. Beautiful quilt and quilting!

Gorgeous quilt and quilting. I would not have stopped hand quilting if I could quilt like that.
