    Penny Haren Challenge completed

Hand appliqued and machine SID, my guild wanted me to teach. I am not a teacher but they figured it out

Loved this challenge, and learned to hand applique. I think it is a great tool for learning as her books have such detailed explanations. Then I bought Laurel Anderson's Applique Workshop. She explains many techniques, I studied it and tried a few that interested me. I fell in love with needle turn. I am an addict. And I do not require intervention, I'm quite happy here.

LOL, I have also just discovered needle turn applique (self taught with books, internet and watching someone do it once) and I love it too. My DH was watching me last night and told me to take a break. I said, when are you going to figure out that this is my crack? Like you, I don't need nor want an intervention.

Lovely quilt. Love the black, yellow and gold color theme too.
