How wonderful of you to spend time and show her the amazing attributes of this fantastic piece of American history. These young ones are our future. If we can show them how to quilt (even the basics) this art will be able to be enjoyed for years to come. She did a great job.

What an amazing feat for a 9 year old, you should be proud that you taught her to quilt. I'm hoping my 6 year old DGD will want me to teach her to quilt some day. A grandma can hope.

She did a great job. Been quilting a long time and some of mine are crooked too.

Thank you for all the comments & encouragement. I'll pass them along. She was amazed when I told her the clerks at the shop praised her work.
