    Hi everyone,

I appliqued this "M" on Malachi's onesie. Today happens to be his 2 mo. birthday. For my older son I took a picture every month on his birthday and put it in my daytimer so I could see how much he changed---I plan to do the same with Malachi.

I also wanted to try this applique project out in real life. I'm thinking about making some for my craft booth this fall and selling them. It only takes about 15 minutes to hand sew the applique on. My thought is a customer would pick out the applique and I could sew it on real quick (or my Mom could...) while the customer is browsing the rest of the fair. The onesie could be picked up before leaving the fair for the day. I thought this might make a nice gift. what do you think??

When my grandsons were babies I painted bowties and buttons on onsies. The patterns are endless.

I think that's a great plan, and neat especially for grandmas as they're out there shopping!
