Well, for someone who was "out of her comfort zone" you have achieved a magnificent result. You have obviously put an incredible amount of heart and soul into this piece....it is a true beauty. Thanks so much for sharing with us...and if you get the opportunity to enter it in a show...please do...it deserves to be out in the wide world getting some more accolades

Oh my this is beautiful - you have my admiration! For me, the problem is reversed, I can hand applique all day long, but machine applique - it always look like my cat did it!!! What a wonderful job you did and the color choices are spot on!

I love your block setting! I am working on this same pattern. I make a few blocks and then back in the box in the corner for a while. I really like the way you put it together and the borders are wonderful! Great job!
