This is my first Log Cabin. I call it "Lincoln's Legacy". Please excuse the picture not being that great. I usually get Jim to hold up my projects, but since I do not want him to see it..........I had to put clothes pins on the curtain rods. It is 6 months till Christmas eve. I can take my time on the hand quilting. How does it look?

The whole thing.

Thanks everyone. I have been wanting to do a Log Cabin for almost 3 years. Feels good to get started.

I sure will show the quilting Chele. I am going to put the outlines of (what else) log cabins.

They are a lot of fun, mytwopals. But I still had to concentrate. Put a couple of strips in the wrong place and had to take them off again.

I chose blue because it is our favorite color, AND I have so many small pieces that I wanted to use up. I had a BAD habit of buying quarters all the time. No more. From now on, It's yards. I might not have so much variety, but I will have enough if I feel like starting a larger project. What color do you plan to use, or do you know yet?

I forgot to ask............should I put a border on this, or leave it alone?
