Here is a picture of my first block (I just have the squares sewed together) for my Scrappy Quilt. The Plain Squares are Purple. I'm going have a Purple Scrappy Quilt. Now mind you this is my very first one that I have ever made so therefore this is going to be my practice one.

I am taking one step at a time here. Tomorrow I am going to go to a local Quilt Shop and ask them how to sew the strips together and all of that stuff. The owner of this LQS is the teacher for our Wed Night Quilt Group too.

Yes sewaholic I did say Purple...but you ain't gettin my Purple Scrappy Quilt so there! LOL...This is my very first one so therefore I am keeping my very first one.

Thank you all for the lovely comments. I know how to sew my row of blocks together too now.

After I get this block completely done than I can start on Block #2 and get my squares situated where I want them and than sew them together.
