That is a wonderful quilt. I'm sure that your friends loved it. I might have to do one of those for myself. Thanks for sharing.

I would love to have the names of materials and way you printed the pictures. My husband and I have traveled to quite a few countries and a picture from each would be a treasured memory. Thanks much. Wanda (fish)

HI THERE,, SORRY TO BE DRAGGING MY FEET....
I USED THE BUBBLE JET SET 2000 AND THE BUBBLE JET RINSE. I USED A WHITE( CREMES ALSO) 100% COTTON AND THE PAPER THAT YOU IRON THE 100% COTTON ON TO MAKE IT GO THRU THE PRINTER..
ITS A MATTER OF SOAKING YOUR MATERIAL IN THE FIRST SOLUTION AND LAYING IT OUT TO DRY...
    IRON ON PAPER FOR PRINTER
PUT IT IN THE PRINTER LIKE ANY OTHER PAPER AND COPY
LET DRY AND USE THE BUBBLE JET RINSE TO SET YOUR COLORS IN AND LET THAT DRY.

YOU ARE READY TO DO WHATEVER YOU WANT WITH YOUR PICTURES.. IF YOU TYPE IN BUBBLE JET 2000 IT WILL GIVE YOU INFORMATION AND THERE ARE LOTS OF SITES TO ORDER FROM IF YOU CANNOT FIND IT NEAR YOUR HOME.

Oh, this is so pretty and such a neat idea! I hope your friends know how special and priceless it is. Maybe when I get much better at Q-ting I will make myself and dh one of our travels.

i am a beginner quilter also.... i just push myself and research and take a stab at it,,,whats the worse that can happen? puckers and not ending right? welll.....i have that, but i am learning from those mistakes...lol i can't let myself get frustrated or i would never finish anything... i do multi tasking and go to another project.. then i just come back and talk to myself and tell myself that it will be ok,,, its not going in a show or anything,,,, just enjoy the process....lol
