This is the 1st time I've tried to do this so hopefully they will come through. This is the mystery quilt I did in 2008. The day of this class I went and within an hour I had to call hubby to take me to the hospital. What we didn't know at the time was that my appendix burst, they didn't find it then, sent me home and it was 5 days later before they diagnosed my appendix and took me to surgery. Needless to say this quilt didn't get done til much later.

Your quilt is beautiful! I love the fabrics and colors; flowers look like fireweed -- are they?

Thank you for your comments. This was a fun piece to do even tho I didn't get to it for about 5 months or so after the class. I think this is actually the 1st one I did completely by myself.

Yes the flowers are fireweed which we have alot of in my area.
When I was a little girl it use to grow in whole fields here and would be taller than I was.
