Pillowcase to match my 1930's bowtie quilt
#1
My wife asked me today if I had any scraps left from that 1930's bowtie quilt that I made her a few weeks ago. She was wanting to make a pillowcase for her small napping pillow to match the quilt. She and my oldest daughter went shopping this afternoon, so while they were out I thought I'd surprise her and go ahead and whip up the pillowcase for her. Below is the pic of it. It's a simple alternating block pattern and I used the same binding material as what I used on the quilt so they would match. She came home while ago and loved it. :D The blocks are 2.5", and the pillowcase measures 15" x 22.5". I left one end open so it can be removed and washed if necessary. The back looks like the front as well.
