I have been sewing like crazy to get the pillowcases I cut out done and delivered. The first 60 went to a women's shelter for the women and children's Easter baskets. They had to be delivered today so they could be added to the baskets before the staff gets the weekend off. They loved all of them and they grabbed arm loads and ran for the room they are doing the baskets in. There is still another batch to sew and deliver to Department of Social and Health Services to go to senior's who are being cared for in their own homes or nursing facilities. But they will be delivered by the 1st of May.

What a marvelous job you're doing for your town. These will be loved for many years. No wonder the volunteers were thrilled with them, probably had no others to give these poor people. Now lots of folks will have their own special pillow to sleep on.
