Great fabrics for the purse; I made one but am not at all happy with my fabric choices.

Both are lovely. If you can't carry the bags perhaps you can sell them at work. A friend of mine has a nice business going with her bags.

Don't worry about the backwards straps, even experienced people can do things like this. I can't tell you the number of times I've sewn something on backwards.
