Default Snow Globes for my boss

My boss is a super nice lady and I feel she is often taken for granted.

I've worked with her for almost 20 years and she has literally worked in every position in the office and finally was made President of the company a year ago.

She collects snow globes for Christmas so I thought I'd make her a lap size quilt to let her know she is special to me and my family. It will also be the first quilt I will give to someone outside the family. I've got the top finished and now have to work up the courage to do the quilting on the long arm that I am pretty shaky with. Then will come the fun of binding it.

Dad helped with all the ironing once again and thinks it looks pretty good.

I did the machine embroidery applique using "Designs by JuJu" blank globe patterns and adapting them a little each time. Each globe has a different fabric in the center.

Oh my! That is wonderful! I too love snow globes. Your boss will just be crazy about this. How sweet of you to do this for her.
