I decided to make grab balls for all four of our great grand babies. They are all under 2 years old and I think they will all like to grab onto these. I put rattles in each of them for more interest. I used to kint balls like these for the grand kids but these are so much faster to make and uses up lots of scrapes of material. My dog has been watching every stitch so I think I will be making one for her after the holidays.

I googled grab ball pattern. There are several web sites. they are easy to make and got together rather quickly. I put rattles inside one of the sections. I save the bottle tops from water bottles and put 3 o4 4 buttons into one of them then tape the second one onto the first. I used masking tape and really wrap up the tops so they don't come apart. Then I put stuffing aroiund the rattle before I insert it into one of the sections of the ball. I have also put small jingle balls in the bottle caps and had some squeekers left over from some dog toys that I put in the ones I crocheted.
