My mother-in-law and I have been working on this quilt for my daughter since February. We're going to send it out to get it longarm quilted, but the top is at least finally done. Still needs squared a little.

I designed the layout, and chose the sashing fabrics, and I'm very happy with the overall look. We showed the finished top to my daughter (she's 4) and now she's obsessed with when she will get it. Hopefully she'll be as excited when we finally can put it on her bed. A couple of the fabrics are from things I've made for her, a christmas stocking and an easter dress.

There's also a hot air balloon fabric that is meaningful, since we went to the Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque last year with the kids.
