Default Piping and fat binding on Baby quilt

This is just a cheater panel. I added several boarders and then piping and an extra fat binding. I really like how it turned out!

Sorry the photos should have been rotated, just stand on your head to view that last one

Very cute, and I love the effect the piping and wide binding add. I must try to do that sometime.

Darling quilt. And I think there's no such thing as "just a cheater panel." They make great quilts. I'm working on one right now, although it's not turning out as cute as yours.

Don't say "just a cheater panel" - it's adorable! Well done!

CHEATER is such a horrible, negative term...for such an adorable quilt...i really don't get why people have to put such negativity on their work...a panal is simply a large print cotton fabric...there is nothing CHEATING about it- you still work creatively to make it into something wonderful...just like using any other printed fabric.

It's a happy quilt. I love panels, use them frequently. It's not cheating; it's efficient use of time and materials!

That's one of the best panel quilts I've seen!!! So bright and happy! I love what you did with it with the borders and binding! Will keep it for inspiration!
