    Default A Place-mat quilt

This quilt came to us from Florida, and is old/antique place mats. We alternated a couple of designs on the mats with some sashing & border work. This quilt has Hobbs 80/20 batting. The client also asked us to do the binding too.

Ah I think these are ladies handkerchiefs! In the day a lady didn't go anywhere without them. How sweet and simple the setting is and the quilting really set them off.

Possible on a couple (she may have run short), but most of them are way to stiff IMO, and some of them are coffee stained.

what a great idea! I have lots of vintage linens that I do not want to cut up, this idea just might be the perfect solution... thanks for sharing!

I think it's wonderful! Your quilting really set them up beautifully.
