hi everyone, so far for me be new to quilting i have not yet made half square triangles and such. but i was on the internet and came across this site called www.wondercutruler.com . they have a ruler that cuts these 1/2 sq. triangles. but first you sew your material together then cut. they say it is alot faster. they also show you how to it is done. has anyone been to this site or has one of these rulers? you order them from this site. i think if i remember right they also have more rulers. looks like a nice ruler to me, but want other opions first since i am not sure of all these quilting gadgets. i am still slowly by things that i need.

You know, there are other ways to do this. Cutting and sewing long strips on the bias is a pain. I usually just start with squares (the Angler (r) is a terrific gadget for that!) and sew 1/4" away from both sides of the diagonal line. Or you can even draw a grid on your fabric and do it that way, cutting all your squares apart afterward!
