I have these colors to do a baby quilt with. They match a pretty border I have of illustrated animals. I just learned how to do D4P blocks and love them! I'm thinking of doing a big center of these blocks with the animal borders around it. I also want to work in some solid squares of these fabrics, somehow...

(My camera exaggerates reds-- they are not this orangey.)

how darling this will be. All warm and happy. I just Love the d4p too. Have made a few sample blocks using two colors per block (just as you've done here). I've done them with a white solid as the 2nd color in each block and really like the look of them. It will be the first new quilt of the year for me, as soon as I finish a couple of 2010's. Can't wait to see this finished!

I love the scrappy look. I am definitely going to make one of these soon! What a great way to use up leaders and enders!
