Default Please help me decide quilts worth.

Hi,

Posted this picture a while ago but recently been approached by someone wanting to purchase this quilt from me. It is about 55" X 60" and I have no idea how much to charge. The materials cost me about $100. Could anyone give me an idea how much to sell for? Picture of both front and back of quilt. Thank you.

Make that 4 votes for $200 ... and that was the minimum amount I had in my head before I looked at the other posts. If you can get more ... try!!

I would go at least $300-$350. Whoever is interested may come back and want another one made. I think 2-1/2 times the amount of the fabric is good. You could always start at $400 and come down. If you were near Lancaster, Pa., it would be $600-$700. Don't be shy, ask for it.

I'm thinking somewhere in the $300 plus range would be fair. How may hours do you figure you have in on making this quilt? Your time is certainly worth more than minimum wage!

I find it so difficult to put a price on a quilt. Your quilt is beautiful! I wish you luck in deciding what you should sell it for. The prices listed do not seem outrageous to me but very fair.

Beautiful quilt. As to how much to charge, I have no idea, I have given away lots of quilts.
