i am so (tired) of girly fabrics/quilts---i wanted to do something different-
making this one with plaid homespuns and flannels- 4 rows laid out on my bed *2 rows to go*
i think it looks masculine
second picture is the rows going in the direction they are supposed to go when finished.

4 rows laid out vertically-they belong horizontal

That is a nice change from the usual prints. Plaids when all used together do give a masculine effect. Will you post another picture when it's finished?

i will post pics of it all finished and quilted- first though i have to go in search of a few more *light* colored homespuns- i have plenty of darks for my last 2 rows---but no more lights (i was doing this with scraps)i was thinking about calling all my friends and relatives near by and trying to talk them out of old flannel shirts that are light colored...i really thought i would have enough---
i guess if i can't find more lights i can put a border or 2 around it to get it up to size--

Borders would look great on it too if you can't find more light plaids. This is a very nice quilt, would love to see pics when its done!
