Default strip twist

this is a pattern I got off the internet and me and my sister and my friend all made the top in a weekend quilting bee.

Bright and colorful. May I asked where you found the pattern or what it's called? Did you rotary cut strips and sew to make a square block, and then slice it again for your triangles?
