    this site was so informing to me... i now have the machine bug.. and seems as though hubby has been bitten as well.. he picked up a red eye for 20 bucks and has just taken it to a repair guy.. its missing two parts and it won't pick up the bobbin thread.. i will post a pic when he feels she is worthy...

    my machines, 3 Wilcox & Gibbs chain stitch,1890s, 1 singer 503A 1962, 4 Pfaff's a hobbymatic 947, a Pfaff creative 7570, a Pfaff performance 2056, and a Pfaff coverlock 4856 serger.

    what year was that if it was way back all i got to say is your pops must have been a hell ofa guy most men would have divorced the wife for buying a car by herself he was def a keeper! i will bet he did dishes and took care of babies too like my dad he always told everyone a real man could cook, change a baby and change a tire all at the same time! lol!
