Just took them out of the dryer tonight! These are the last of the Christmas gifts coming from the sewing room this year.

This is Rachel's--my 19 year old college girl. She picked the fabrics from my stash. I love the pine needle fabrics!

And this is Jenny's--my son's new fiancé. She and I went shopping together so she could find what she liked. My stash didn't have enough to make two. :-D

I was thinking on a wedding quilt for them, but, since she'll inherit all the quilts I've made for him... which is at least four... they are full of quilts!

awesome quilts, love the colours. I just finished one and it took longer than I thought. Do you have special scissors to do the clipping?

Both very nice Karla! Are they flannel or homespun?

Flannel, Jan. :-D I don't much care for dealing with homespun.

Daisy.. I had to do it all with regular scissors. Bah! On the first one pictured, I tried snipping the long way across first. It didn't lay quite flat so on one spot the scissors slit the square about 1/3". I had to steam a seam a piece over it. I was so much more careful then, and finished using the tip of the scissors for most of it. That's harder.

Now that you've finished both these quilts -- did you know that the AccuCut Go Cutter has a die for these blocks where the ragged edge is cut when you cut out the block??? So cut and sew and go... :D

Wow, those are both just beautiful and look really warm. I think I may need to do one of these.
