Pot of Tea? UFO - Finish

    Hi Guys,

Here are some pictures of my latest finish - the whole quilt and three of the panels. It was a Block of the Month called Sweet Tea, which of course I didn't make as they arrived... no I collected them, in a nice pile.... (never quilted much before) and eventually made all together!

I started this quilt when I was very very very new to quilting and very inexperienced. I am still inexperienced, but since becoming a member here I have learned heaps, so I can now see the large amount of mistakes I made when creating this quilt top.

Also, the company that put the BOM together sent some very poor fabrics... the green and white stripe seemed to have a bias in both directions.... stretchy and flimsy! So it was a real doosey!!!

Anyway, it is pieced now.... just the quilting to do!

    Hugs and thanks for looking!

I think you've done an excellant job. Quilting is not easy on good fabric. Bad fabric is worse. You did really good.

Whatever the issues you may have had, you turned out a beautiful quilt. The colors are pretty and the ribbon border is wonderful. Good job.
