    PP is something that you either get it or you do not. For many years I fell into the second category. No matter what I did my brain found it hard to work backwards. The piece in my avatar is PP but it took many many goes to get it to that standard.

    Do not be hard on yourself. You could have stopped at one block and threw it in the bin so well done on sticking with it and I look forward to seeing your tablerunner when done.

    Nice block but you are so right about paper piecing wasting a lot of fabric, triangles especially. The most economic use of scraps that I have found is a mini log cabin block out of graph paper. But that is tiny tiny and doesn't make a dent in the scrap pile.
