In reading all the post, I put off doing my penquin quilt to practice the tube quilting. I didn't really have enough of any one of the material to stay completely consistent but I intended this to be for practiceing the cutting; lining up the points and next the piecing and quilting (I may try the quilt as you go to put it together).

Anyway - complete work in progress and is only meant to be practice - maybe I'll use it at the soccer fields but I had to share because I actually like the way its coming together.

If I can get it all done correctly, I'd like to do the same pattern - this is coming out about twin size once I get both side borders on.

Different angle

The strips - the lighter colors are purple and the dark ones that almost look peach are hot pink

up close of one strip panel - I wish I had known about tube quilting about 9 quilts ago - my points are so nice done this way

Looks great so far, it would be a fun quilt for outdoors, all the vibrant colors.

For a practice quilt, it is looking stunning! Love those flying geese too! Colours are lovely!
