Congratulations! It's taking that first step that is hardest for me. By the time you get those six quilts done you will have really improved and be ready for learning fancier designs!

I stitched to the leader too on one of my first. I love having the machine & frame ~ I just wish it wasn't so heavy. =) I was thinking of getting really long zippers to put on the leaders...its an idea.

You did great!!! I just finished my first quilt on my 830 and frame. I am very pleased. Looks like you made a great start! I want to get good at feathers too....don't forget pics so we can follow your progress.

Thanks for all the kind words! I decided to do the binding by machine after finishing. What a fast quilt! Maybe I should do some more whole cloth quilts!
