    I have not done but one lap quilt, but i thought I would practice on doll quilts before I done anymore quilting. So here is my second doll quilt top.

    The first doll quilt I made

    Clever thinking.

    Starting with small projects is a good way to get practice in all aspects of quilting from piecing to quilting to binding.

    The bonus is you have two very pretty doll quilts completed (almost) very quickly.

    I especially love your pink/mauve colour choice.

    I just finished making my first doll quilt. That is where I first did FMQ with my Singer Featherweight. I just did a scrappy quilt but it turned out ok. I think the two doll quilts are so nice. You did a good job.

    Those are both great quilts. Love the butterflies in the first one. What a great way to start. Thanks for sharing with us.
