I made this quilt to raffle off for a medical trip to Ohio from Georgia for a little girl's surgery.
I really like this quilt and I want to make me one too!

Trupeach,
They live in Vidalia, Georgia. She was born with D-George syndrome and has had surgery as a newborn before she went home from the hospital.
Can you imagine the pain the parents went through to give permission for their newborn to be an organ donor. I think of them as 'saints on earth'.
The trip was to a very good childrens hospital in Ohio, but I'm not sure where.
She was tested for several days to see if it is possible to have heart surgery.
Sadly, no, her aorta (?) is not where it should be and it lays on or too near to her heart.
Sorry, I quilt, I'm not in the least medical LOL!!!!
Thank everyone for the kind comments.

What a beautiful quilt, I love the Bible verse you embrodered on it. The decision to be an organ donor is a gut renching decision. Our pastors daughter had to have a liver transplant 24 years ago. This year she was the recipent of a NEW HEART. The Lord has blessed her with good doctors and with extremely loving parents and a whole congregation that keeps her in their prayers. God does work things out for the best if we trust in Him. There is a silver lining in a dark cloud. We may not always see it but it is there. Blessing to the family.
