It is fantastic! Love the scrappiness of it all!

When I do something scrappy, I also vary the background fabrics so it is really scrappy... just a thought for the next time!

Also if you want to make it bigger, how about sashing? A two inch sash between each block REALLY adds up quickly to give you the extra size you want!

Can you share where I can find the pattern? :-)
If you look closely you can see it is a four patch. Two half square triangle blocks and two plain blocks. Should be pretty simple to figure out from there!

one day i may be bold enough to attempt some background confusion--i prefer subtlety ---what i DID do to add a little charm was to turn the bkgrd fabric on the vertical AND horizontal..[big traditional no no] it may raise a few eyebrows but it looks more playful!

fresh out of purple & a six inch border will do the same! again i disagree, sashing is a separator to me, if you want the blocks to stand out, fine, i'm going 4 the close & crowded look--i do appreciate your opinion! & thanks for your suggestions!
