I'm wondering, did an extensive internet search and came up with only PDF manuals, would anyone have the manual for this 403 Singer that they would be willing to sell? I'm in need of the manual because I know nothing about cams and how to use them. I don't even know how to get the one in there out :-(

Sew-Classic.com has the free manual. Here's the link:

I know you'll love that machine. I have a 301, and I just love it!!

Ok - first - to get the cams out - these are the "top hat" type of cams. They just snap in & snap out. So just firmly grip the "top hat" part & firmly pull it out.

For a manual - try searching E-bay. Here's what came up for me: http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_from=R4...All-Categories

or - you can order a replacement manual direct from Singer:

Hope this helps. :)

ETA: jljack's link is even better! A free manual always beats having to buy one.
