I have actually used that lilac fabric before and also used black with it. Unfortunately, the quilt was a gift, so I didn't get to keep it. :o(

I had to laugh about the beard ... It was shocking at first, but it grew on me! Or rather the thought of hubby standing on a chair with his beard hanging over that quilt just is so comical! That is something to see!
